On the other hand, some festivals are loud, rowdy affairs. During Tomatina in Spain, people throw tomatoes at each other. For India's Holi, people throw colored powder on each other. In Parintins, Brazil, teams use noisy dances, songs, and parades to re-enact an ancient legend. Some holidays are difficult to characterize, like Groundhog Day in the United States and Canada.
